Holy shit once more for real!

How can we lose both Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett in one day? Does it mean I'm getting old that people like that are starting to die? But they weren't old themselves! It's just freakishly mind-boggling to consider two icons like that in one day. So much music (my first love) and the re-emergence of the poster is just a shade of what they represented. Far out!

I may even have to have a beer (or two) and spin Off The Wall.

Okay, I do have a smallish to largish (depends on your definitions, man) smattering of records and movie posters and some old, dusty musical gear and stuff. But I do NOT have a problem, okay? I, personally, find the art of collecting very healthy and relaxing. Everyone should do it, really. And when you see a bunch of really cool shit in one place (like a fancy, classy museum!)at one time, who do you have to thank for it? That freak of a collector, that's who.

Anyway, I want to see this. I don't need to see this or have to see this. I just want to see this. That's how it works. It's that simple. No problem.

After the landlord suddenly and unjustly evicted our pal, The Undead Film Critic, he has been building his blog up from scratch. We just received this invitation from him to announce his "Grand Opening."

While we are currently still remodeling, Undead Cinemas would like to cordially invite you to the grand opening of the Undead Film Critic blog. Please pardon our mess as links and features are still being worked on.

Feel free to bring a guest and tell your friends as Undead Cinemas promises to be THE place for rare and unique poster, pressbooks and lobby cards. Several special appearance have already been lined up for the future, so don't be surprised if an actress or two stops by for a impromptu meet and great, but please keep in mind that given the nature of the films showcased, minors should be left at home. Also, in hopes of further educating our community, reviews of rare and hard to find films will be added on a periodical bases as well as links to purchase such films.
