R.I.P.

Beverly Garland, actress, and one of Roger Corman's many female stars of the 50s, has died at 82. I'm not knowledgeable enough to eulogize her so I'll link you to a proper article and give you some posters that show the awesomeness of the films (and the era) that she worked in. And she worked in lots of movies as well as television and across all the decades since appearing in D.O.A. in 1950. Sadly, as they say, they just don't make them like her anymore.

Stayed at the Beverly Garland Holiday Inn my only time in L.A. Was interesting to walk in and see her movie posters all over the lobby.

Yeah, I think they did a yearly collector's show there and she always attended.

And I've never seen Swamp Women. I am ashamed to have to admit that.
