This was taken a few months ago. The graffiti has been removed. This building is 2 blocks from my house and was great for last minute film going moods.
I remember watching AKIRA there with some high school buddies. Also seeing a GODFATHER Double Bill in their horribly uncomfortable seats.
Still fantasize about setting up a grindhouse theatre there - and connecting it to the Beirut Restaurant next door so you could drink beer and eat falafels like a Toronto Drafthouse.
